Ibis Writers

First Tuesday of the month
1:00 pm

Phone Jane on 0498 064 248 for the location.

New members are welcome at Ibis - we cater for novice writers and those with plenty of experience.

If you revel in the written word – or would like to – consider joining Ibis Writers. Members meet at 2pm on the first Tuesday of each month (with exceptions for Easter and Melbourne Cup Day).

Lively discussion is guaranteed, as writers provide constructive feedback to each other. This often leads to debate about topics of interest. The writing shared may be funny, poignant, thought-provoking, informative and stimulating. There’s precedent for the occasional tear and there is plenty of encouragement.

COME AND CREATE

SECOND AND FOURTH THURSDAY of the month
AT THE CREATIVE ARTS STATION
from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

These are informal sessions to encourage social contact and an opportunity to share some creative ideas. Members can get to know each other better, and non-members are welcome to come and try it out.

The first two sessions are free.

Then it is $5 per session, or join ASPIR and sessions will be free.

Bring along a project you are working on - anything from knitting, craft work etc. Or just just come for a cuppa and some creative inspiration.

A volunteer ASPIR member will be there to conduct the session, and there will be some materials available.
